Re: Diversity - how does it work?

Hi Tech_Support, Thank you for your swift response. I hadn't heard of MRC Diversity and unusually the Wikipedia reference has left me only a little wiser. When MRC talks about "channel", what does that refer to in SDRuno terms. Is it the whole captured spectrum or the just the bandwidth that I am cu...

Diversity - how does it work?

I admit to being rather confused by the new Diversity functionality that arrived with V1.32. I thought I might not be alone and hope that someone can explain how Diversity in SDRuno works. I have one other system that supports Diversity reception and that is my K3 equipped with a second receiver. Wh...

Re: SDRuno and DMR decoding with DSD+

StandingWave, I am using V1.31 but have used all versions since I first started DSD+ with SDRuno 1.24. I recently paid to subscribe to the "fast lane" version of DSD+ and I am now decoding Fusion and D-Star as well as DMR. D-Star will work in 8kHz but DMR is slightly wider. I tweak the bandwidth as ...

Re: SDRuno and DMR decoding with DSD+

StandingWave,

Don't abandon hope. I use SDRuno to receive DMR from local 70cms repeaters and then pass it for decoding to DSD+. I use NFM and a 10kHz bandwidth. Contact me directly if you want to compare settings.

Re: What is the Digital button for in SDRuno?

You will only hear something from the DMR repeaters when there are stations active on a Talk Group that the repeater is set to relay. This means you might have to sit for a long time before someone pops up. Leave DSD+ monitoring even whilst you are not near the radio, it will be apparent on the cons...

Re: What is the Digital button for in SDRuno?

Not too sure where you are in the UK but you ought to be in range of an Amateur DMR repeater.

For DRM use this reference...

The transmission from RFI on 3965 is very strong here in Gloucester in the evenings.

Re: What is the Digital button for in SDRuno?

There are no "hidden" digital decoders. I was actually listening to a local DMR repeater using my RSPduo as I read your message. I have NFM selected and am piping the audio to DSD+ through a Virtual Audio Cable. You would use the "Digital" mode when receiving DRM stations on HF. You would pipe the a...

Re: Spectrum Analyzer on RPDuo?

Alessandro,

It works for me on my RSPDuo.

I did need to install SDRuno 1.24 first to get the correct drivers for the Duo. The drivers that come with Analyzer 0.9a do not include support for the RSPduo.

Re: CW AFC and ZAP do not work

You wouldn't buy a Duo just because the CW AFC is a bit awkward?

Re: CW AFC and ZAP do not work

Mike, They do work, sort of. You'll get problems with them depending upon what you have done with SP2. If you leave SP2 fully zoomed out, then they will work. You can zoom SP2 in a little but DON'T slide the display to centre up the CW passband. Once you do this it all goes wrong. Zoom back out full...
