Re: Feedback for version 1.0a here

Steve, It is really great to hear back from you. I was getting concerned that the development might have ended. I find the software does everything that I need it do to and can live with some of the minor bugs. I am anxiously awaiting your beta release. Thanks again for all of your work. Don K9AQ

Re: Another great video demo of the Spectrum Analyser in action

In this video he compares the SAS against commercial spectrum analyzers and he confirms that this is really great software!

Re: Feedback for version 1.0a here

Steve, Again thanks for the truly great product Using the SAS software and a noise generator, I was able to see what a dramatic impact there was by making a minor inductance change on a 6M low pass filter. Trace 2 shows the filter response before I squeezed one of the coil windings closer together. ...

Re: Feedback for version 1.0a here

Steve, I have found that it can take a lot of time for the peaks to calculate the frequency and db difference. I have seen it take over a minute. Is that normal? I running the software on an older laptop so that my be the problem. I just used the software to see what the harmonics look like on my du...

Re: Feedback for version 1.0a here

Steve I am getting more familiar with the changes in this release and it is doing everything that I hoped it would. There are some quirks but I have worked around them. I have experienced your "know problems" of intermittent display freezing and gain setting changing. I am struggling with the functi...

Re: Feedback for version 1.0a here

Thank you Steve! I build and experiment with high power solid state amplifiers and I have been looking for an affordable spectrum analyzer for many years. I even used a surplus HP analyzer that must have cost many thousands of dollars when it was new, but nothing gave me what I needed. I needed good...

Re: Spectrum Analyser - New release available soon

Steve, This is absolutely GREAT news!! The timing couldn't be better for me. I am just finishing a dual LDMOS amplifier and I will need the SA to look at the IMD, and also the harmonic suppression. I could use the Alpha release for the IMD, but I needed the scan function for the harmonics. While I h...

Re: Feedback for version 0.9a here

Steve,

This thread has been very quite for quite awhile. I hope that you are still planning on finishing the next release of the software. Do you have any idea when you might release it?
