You aren't the first to think SDRUno is cross-platform Paul, but afaik it isn't.
Would love to be proved wrong.

Re: SDRuno on Linux Ubuntu?
Hi Glenn. Welcome to the group. There are a few Linux users here and I expect we would all like to see SDRUno running on our favourite platform, but it doesn't. It's easy to get CubicSDR and/or Gqrx working with the SDRPlay 2, thanks to SoapySDR stuff. I don't even think Uno will run with WINE or wi...

Re: How to change the LO frequency
Slightly easier than your way would be to; set the LO where you want it by adjusting the tuned frequency with the scroll wheel, in the MAIN SP window (or VRX window) while hovering the pointer over the digit you want to change. You'll see that the indicated LO changes in sync with your scrolling. Wh...

Re: Gqrx on Linux Mint 18.1 (fairly) easy install.
Thanks for your tutorial too. I used bits of it while I was trying to get gqrx working on a new installation. I'd got the idea that it needed the gr-osmoSDR stuff and built gnuradio and others. I'll do all that again, sometime soon, as a source build of gqrx needs gnuradio headers and co. and I'd li...

Gqrx on Linux Mint 18.1 (fairly) easy install.
Gqrx is fairly easy to install on a new Linux Mint 18.1 installation. The available packaged version is 2.4.1 and the version you get following these instructions is 2.6.1, so worth a little command line effort. I haven't tried with 2.4.1 so don't know if it works. I don't think it matters, but may ...

Re: Ubuntu 16.04 current soapysdr and built sdrplay module fail.
I enjoyed your YouTube video Kevin and thanks for making the scripts. I'll certainly use them next time I install CubicSDR. My current version is 0.2.2 alpha and it seems to have the antenna switch features. I don't use it much so it can stay at that version. I like GQRX though and it's bugging me t...

Re: Ubuntu 16.04 current soapysdr and built sdrplay module fail.
You didn't mention installing the API, but I'm not sure you'd get as far as you did without it. The file is called SDRplay_RSP_API-Linux-2.10.1.run and it's available from http://www.sdrplay.com/downloads/ I've been trying to do a minimal install of GQRX on a fresh Mint 18.1. It isn't going well usi...

Re: SoapySDRPlay compile error on Unbuntu 14
Section 6.2 of the workflow doc has been fixed in the version now available. The back-slashes make the command work by 'escaping' the line breaks (I think).

Re: SoapySDRPlay compile error on Unbuntu 14
I see your original post has appeared. Pretty sure it wasn't there earlier, so a forum glitch I guess. I'd recommend trying to follow the 'Non-Windows Workflow' pdf at http://www.sdrplay.com/downloads/ but I see there's still a mistake (or two) in it. Both the cjcliffe guide on the github Wiki and t...

Re: Majorly disappointed so far...
I dual boot Linux Mint and Windows 7 on this PC and the Windows installation didn't have SDRUno, or RSP drivers installed. A quick download and install and then it starts with default settings. With no antenna connected, having simply clicked the SP1 and Play buttons in the MAIN window, the waterfal...
