We now have another example in the Antennas section.

Re: Audio stuttering despite low CPU

Hi Patrick again. It seldom happens, but it happens that the laptop battery becomes intermittent under certain loads. Then strange things show up, like the pc going suddendly to sleep or the display, yes the display stuttering... This occours in some laptops because the battery is parallel charged, ...

Re: LW-MW-SW Relay Tuned 15' Noise Reducing Vertical Antenna

This "antenna" design contradicts many, if not all, antenna principles anyone however superficially involved with radio communications should be aware of. Just to name a few. - If it is a ground plane it does not have the ground reflector. If it is not a ground plane, what is it? _ It is claimed to ...

Re: Audio stuttering despite low CPU

Patrick, hi again. I would get crazy if I had such a problem! You simply CANNOT have such a problem with an I7 PC!! Either the PC is faulty (virus maybe?) Or your installed SDRuno is corrupted. I had a similar problem not long ago. First go to the SDRuno folder in Programs & delete the API folder. T...

Re: Audio stuttering despite low CPU

Hi Patrick, some laptops have a battery saving provision that limits the speed (e.g. lower performance) when you are in battery mode. Then your setup works fine at small bandwidth, but when you attempt to increase the speed, the cpu just does not follow. Just check the battery management software. P...

Re: ANT A / ANT B : not working anymore

There is a known bug in SDRuno relating to input switching. Try de-installing SDRuno completely, then reboot the PC and then re-install. The problem will probably go away.

Re: Receive Antenna & Impedance "Matching"

Very interesting thread, Vk7jj & glovisol! The screens showing the s/n improvement are impressive and also the idea to compare the two tuners of the RSPduo is very useful. However I noticed that in the varicouple 3 pic the spectrum analyser shows "overload". In fact the pic shows gain and not loss.

Re: PRACTICAL PC CAPABILITY GUIDELINES FOR RSP OPERATION

Why, there are many advantages in using XP or W7. XP especially, because having less frills than the newer O.S.'s use less processor & memory power, leaving more for Sdrplay or the other software you use for controlling the RSP. If you scratch the surface, all operating systems after XP are still re...
