Re: Busy night of 40 meters

Hi Test Support thanks for the quick reply. Perhaps it is better if one posts the entire screen shown by SDRuno and not the signal window only, much more helpful!

Re: Busy night of 40 meters

Hi Mike, I do not understand why in your posted pic it shows 24 db s/n while on noise?

Re: NOISE ADVANTAGE OF LONG WIRE ANTENNA FAR END TERMINATION

Glovisol it looks to me perhaps there is something wrong in your results. If you have a more sensitive antenna, it will also pick up more noise as well as the signal, just as Mike2459 shows in the reference in "Receive antenna & impedance "matching". Also I do not understand what you mean by counter...

Re: RSP2 + gnuradio + airband = no big success :-(

Hi Raymond, it is my experience that in many areas giant FM station signals do exist and they can badly overload and / or desensitize the RSP receiver. Make sure you use the FM notch when on the airband and if this is not enough use an external filter to blot out the FM band completely.

Re: Using two coherent RSP2's

Being aware of all material published by Sdrplay on the diversity issue, in my opinion the two units within a single RSPduo are coherent, as intended for your work, but these two will NOT be coherent with the other two receivers of another RSPduo, even if you use the same reference oscillator signal.

Re: FT 990 IF output

In some Yaesu units the IF rides on 9 V d.c. better check. If this is the case you can isolate with an in between capacitor. Your RSP measures the power level it receives very accurately in dBm, so you can immediately judge if you are safe or not. You approach the safety limit with 0 dbm and you CAN...

Re: Ant Input: RSP And RSP-2 Ant A Input ?

Hi Bob,

I see from your posts you are jumping from one software to another practically every day, while you did not report if at least you now work with your RSP2 and SDRuno without problems...I wish to help if you still encounter difficulties!
