Re: AM and FM Band Reject Filters

We US listeners have the same issues, and there are 2 top names for AM and FM filters; Par electronics (yes, the former manufacturers of the popular EF-SWL antenna) and Stridsberg...viz. http://www.parelectronics.com/swl-filters.php http://www.parelectronics.com/fm-broadcast.php http://www.stridsber...

Re: Antennas for City Dwellers

I would recommend a loop - they do a good job of rejecting noise and you can put them on a small tripod. Many don't take up that much space, either. See this topic...https://www.sdrplay.com/community/viewt ... f=8&t=4575

Re: Antenna for LW

If you want to learn about LW and what you can hear, the Longwave Club of America, which has been around for a very long time, is the place to be. It specializes, as the name suggests, on stuff 530 khz and down. The URL is: https://www.lwca.net/

Ham Radio Deluxe URL in the Getting Started article

I goofed when I supplied all those links for the Getting Started article - just one, thankfully. Ham Radio Deluxe's correct URL is:

https://www.hamradiodeluxe.com/

This includes the well known DM780 digital decoder that is part of the Ham Radio Deluxe package

Thanks...Mike

Re: expand the list of useful links

OK there's one typo - Ham Radio Deluxe's URL should be;

https://www.hamradiodeluxe.com/

This includes DM780 which is a part of the Ham Radio Deluxe package

Thanks...Mike

Re: expand the list of useful links

OK Jon here's a starter list of links and topics. Consider this list as a work in progress. If you (or the other admins) think of other things that should be added, now is the time to do it. These links all come from the RadioReference wiki, which has over 10000 (yes you read that right) articles on...

expand the list of useful links

I read the PDF in the support area regarding useful links. While that's a start, it misses a huge amount of programs and DLLs (EXTIO, for example) that are mentioned throughout many of the videos. How about something that can give people where they get things like WSJT-X, MMSSTV, MultiPSK, Krypto500...

Re: Longwave Antenna Reception For Apartment

If you are in the US, you would do well to consider the W6LVP loops. They're nowhere near as expensive as the Pixel or Wellbrook, and Larry's customer service is exemplary. He has been known to fit filters into the amp if you have nearby AM, FM or TV stations that might cause overloading issues. Her...

Re: Digital Decoding Question ?

Once you get things going, your next step is to find something that's readable. Hams are always readable - they're not permitted to use encryption, but they can and often use lots of different modes. Apart from hams, then, there's a number of things you can hear and see. This wiki page from RadioRef...

Other source of HF station information

I have been told by a poster on another board that the Perseus text file from the NASWA master spreadsheet is usable in SDRUno. Not only does this include the well known EiBi schedules, but numerous other sources as well. It is updated frequently, sometimes several times a week. It's available by jo...
