Addendum - SDRuno is now working with the FT-450D. It may have been working for awhile but I was focused on the error message.

RX Control/Settings shows Status: Not Connected BUT the process is working.

Top left it says the oscillator is locked. The lock option is not set. Locked on 60,000,000. Noise but no stations. had 1 week. reboot, reinstall, different cable. Lots of hours trying all of the myriad of options to no avail.

I have had this unit less than a week - RSP1A. I was trying to get it to work, vis COM ports, with HRDeluxe. Hours of fiddling with different USB ports, options, etc.... Found the answer in a footnote in the manual: Use the "T" key. Single click places SDRuno in transmit as well as the transceiver. It also mutes the audio to prevent feedback from monitoring while transmitting. Clicking the T key or the microphone returns to monitor mode. Problem solved.

I bought the RSP1A to use with my FT-450D. Reason - audio on the FT-450D was not good. Noise reduction has the usual ancient muddy stuff. SDRUno is 10 times better.
