Re: SDRUNO v1.24 freezes
Which RSP device are you using? Did you mean it was running non-stop for 3 days and then froze? When running V1.24 and you get problems try restarting the API first and if that does not help reboot the computer. If it still has problems reset the registry (you will lose your workspace settings) and ...

Re: Safe distance between RSPduos and a low-power WSPR transmitter?
I did some calculations using 300 mW and typical gains for your transmit antenna (6 dBi) and the magnetic loop antennas (0 dBi). Even at 20m (65 feet) you will have a signal input into the RSP over 0 dBm (which is the safe working level for an RSP). The loop antennas should be OK however because the...

Re: Working Split (2 Virtual receivers VS 2 RSP2s VS RSPDuo)
The easiest and most cost-effective way is to just use two VRX's with your RSP2. The reason for multiple VRX capability is to monitor multiple signals within the receive bandwidth (set by sample rate and decimation). SDRuno and SDR-Console make it easy to setup multiple virtual receivers using one R...

Re: Alternatives to Uno???
Try SDR-Console or HDSDR. Neither look like a radio but you might find the user interface more to your liking.

What I meant to say was written by purchasers of SDRplay products. Sorry about that....mikexeno wrote:The SDRyuno cookbook was not written by SDRplay. It was written by myself and Paul Jones NN4F

Re: Controlling your RSP and Radio with Ham Radio Deluxe
You need to configure HRD to communicate with SDRuno using the Kenwood protocol (not Yaesu) as shown in my post above and detailed in the SDRplay appnote AN008 http://www.sdrplay.com/docs/HRDandSDRuno.pdf.
In summary HRD <---> Kenwood Protocol <---> SDRuno <---> Yaesu Protocol <---> Yaesu Radio

The PTT output (sometimes marked SEND) on most ham transceivers goes to ground during transmit.

Re: SDRPlay RSP1 software with WDSP support
PowerSDR was developed by Flex for their radios and is no longer supported. Source code is available and several people have forked the code to make it run with other SDR devices. Unfortunately it has not been modified to run with SDRplay products. If you want to use this software for its noise redu...

Monty,
Here is where you find the IF settings in HDSDR
There is a lot of info on setting up HDSDR to use an RSP on the IF output on this site....
