Re: Scanner locks out RX window?
Hi Paul, thanks for reply. Yes, I do understand the difference between "Pause" & "Stop". But that is not what I'm saying. To clarify: Anytime the scanner is being used, paused or not, the RX panel is locked out. Cannot be moved. Controls on RX panel do not work. In order to restore access to the RX ...

Scanner locks out RX window?
Hi all, I've noticed when running SDRuno that when the scanner is running - even in mem mode - the RX window is locked out and no adjustments such as audio volume nor squelch can be adjusted. Also, the RX window cannot be moved, minimized nor closed. Stopping the scanner doesn't return control of th...

My complements :)
Thank you SDRUno team! With v1.32, SDRUno has come a long way since I last tried it about a year ago. Things of note for me are the much improved IF AGC, and the scanner. Both work very well. The scanner is superb, and once set up it works as well as any of the many analog scanners which I've had he...

Auto notch
I normally use HDSDR, but I've returned to trying SDRUno recently and I'm happy to say that many nice improvements have been made since I last tried. Love the IF AGC now and also the scanner. Thank you! Please add to your list of future features an auto notch function. Would be most handy for automa...

Re: Windows XP Compat
Rather than SDRUno, try using HDSDR with Windows XP. Much simpler interface than SDRUno, and works well with Windows XP. It is available in the downloads section on the SDRPlay site here: https://www.sdrplay.com/downloads/ . There is also an updated beta version available on the HDSDR website. Perha...

Re: SDRPlay Duo no HF ;)
Most indoor loops are directional, some with deep nulls(lower signals) in the perpendicular plane(broadside) of the loop. You can often rotate these antennas such that noise is decreased and signals are rising nicely above the noise floor. It is also possible to rotate for maximum strength of the si...

Re: PRACTICAL PC CAPABILITY GUIDELINES FOR RSP OPERATION
I use an older Dell Optiplex 360 duo core, 4gb RAM, running Windows 7 pro/32bit. I use HDSDR for HF, SDRSharp r1361 for VHF/UHF. With this, I can run full 10mhz span with no dropouts and good speed. CPU load averages 30-50%. Said computer is dedicated only to the radio and has no other software ins...

Re: SDRplay RSP2 appears to be useless on Ubuntu
I've tried both Ubuntu and Windows again and again and my experience has been that these receivers and their associated drivers and software work far better and with far less hassle on Windows. Nothing against Ubuntu nor Linux in general, I use it for some pretty cool applications. But not this .
