Re: RSP1A and SMA connector

I had it too on 1 box, the SMA connector came loose. I opened the box as soon as I noticed and mounted the connector properly. Do not wait until the coax at the inside has been damaged. I doubt SDRplay will let you lose warranty if you report and repair it yourself. But ask before you do, always best.

Re: Galvanic Antenna Isolators

But the Telenet website uses a longwire without counter, so it's normal to use extra grounding. However with antenna's that hold their own counter like a dipole you do not need grounding, just a common-mode-choke is enough. Like with a battery, if you don't connect both poles there will be no light ...

Re: a rtl_tcp compatible IQ server for the RSP

Added new features, when using -s and/or -f to fix the samplerate and/or freq, the server will ignore any changes from the client.
This is important for websdr.org when using an upconverter, you now simply set the freq and don't use progfreq.

Re: What’s going on here ?? Receiving but no antenna

Hi Stefan, If you overload the ADC it will start giving ghost signals. There are a few options you may want to try: 1: Turn on broadcast etc notches, as regardless the band you are, strong signals mix into other bands if the level is too high. 2: Reduce the gain of the SDRplay a lot, typical 50% or ...

Re: Linux API 3.01 driver stops streaming when the sample rate is changed at around 2.685Ms/s

There is no issue as it's not meant for end-users and also not stated as to be used by non-developers.

I develop myself and removed it, as it doesn't work for my project.

Re: SoapySDRPlay3 driver for SDRplay API 3.01

Why are you using it?
It was stated for developers only and it's not working with most software.

In other topics you have problems, but yet you use the testing-API that is not said to be compatible.

I tested it myself as well and removed it, as it simply isn't useful.

Re: SDRPlay RSP1A + OpenSuse + CubicSDR + PulseAudio + Dream

I was looking for this too!!

It's even more simplistic to control with this:

Code: Select all

sudo apt install pavucontrol
Don't know how it must be installed with Suse.

Thanks.

Re: Minimum computer specs for running SDRuno

Parallels is a PC-emulator for the Mac, it runs a copy of Windows in a virtual machine. Paralls isn't a real Windows machine, it runs a lot, but has problems when it comes to realtime processing. If you want to run it on a mac, install bootcamp and a real copy of Windows. https://support.apple.com/b...

Re: SDRPlay RSP1A + OpenSuse + CubicSDR + PulseAudio + Dream

Did you do this at the same time? As the station you mention, I tried with my Icom 7300 and feed it into Dream. I could not decode it either. When I do the same with France International at 3965 KHz and with 10 KHz audio-band-width, there is no problem decoding. At the moment I'm listening to it wit...
