Re: Odd behaviours spotted so far.
Yes Jim - but on first installation and use, all you get is that tiny window and you have to start fiddling about to make it work. An 'out of the box' working default receiver with the basic windows in place would make life a lot easier, especially for newcomers to SDR.

Odd behaviours spotted so far.
Early days and all that. I'm getting severe AGC 'bouncing' under certain conditions. If I'm tuning the AM (MW) broadcast band with the LNA off, and I click the AGC to ON, the spectrum display starts to jump up and down and the audio thumps. Sometimes it settles down, other times it just carries on. ...
Re: Skins
It would be nice, as I find the dark grey brings a rather gloomy look to the proceedings.

Re: VHF and Above - Initial Observations
Scott - I've just had a poke around the 800 - 900 MHz region with a 5 MHz bw but was unable to reproduce the problem you mention. Very odd!

Re: VHF and Above - Initial Observations
Ah, message understood. I'll try scudding about UHF with a 5 MHz bw. I rarely go above 2 MHz.

Re: VHF and Above - Initial Observations
Hi Scott. I've been using the new Uno software for a day or so and I haven't found your IQ reversal problem. I listen quite a bit around 860/870 MHz and everything seems fine on the SRP with Uno, no reversal necessary. All freq's are where they should be, confirmed with a different receiver. My prob...

Re: Wow, thanks!
A bit more info on the VLF problems. I have two frequencies stored in memory - one at around 243 MHz, the other 60 KHz. If I recall the VHF one it works perfectly, but when I click on the VLF one it does not work. The digital frequency readout changes to 60 KHz, but the spectrum and waterfall contin...

Wow, thanks!
Free as well! After downloading and installing, I struggled for a while and finally realised I should read the manual. I'm impressed, but sometimes find myself unable to move the tuning ribbon - is this a bug or a feature? Second, when looking around VLF, I find that sometimes all the expected signa...

Re: SDRplay Ghost signals
Hi Khitryy. The way the RSP works means it has spurious responses just like any other. Sadly, the RSP has a spurious DAB response in the 70 MHz area and even though the front-end filters reduce this, it does not go away completely. I'm not sure whether the response is due to an unwanted mix in the t...

Re: Can only pick up my local radio station
Hi John It's hard to tell from those shots, but it looks like you might have the settings all wrong for what you are trying to receive. In the first shot, you seem to be tuned to 236 KHz AM. That's LW radio. I'm not sure where you live, but do you have LW radio there? Also a Skyscan antenna won't be...
