Re: New Sdruno User
Hi jerry. you'd get a faster response over on the SDRPlay Facebook site. There are lots of very helpful people there who will sort you out in a flash.

Re: Lots of noise...no signal...new unit
Are you entering the frequency correctly. Default entry uses kHz, to enter MHz use the MHz button. I'm not sure if you are new to SDRUno or not, but this is a major source of confusion for newcomers. For instance, entering 14.2 <enter> would put you on 14.2 kHz and you probably would receive nothing...

Re: RSP1A HF Signals
This is strange. The RSP should be able to hear everything your Yaesu can hear. I've never found any significant difference between my RSP2 and my other receivers (including a nice R&S EB150). I can't be much help with Console as I haven't used it for a long time, I prefer to stick with SDRUno these...

Re: Can SDRPlay RSP2 Decode P25,
Like most other receivers the RSP2 can receive ANY mode, but it can only decode them with the help of third-party software (like DSD+). Once you've got your RSP2 running satisfactorily in analogue modes, you can download and install DSD+ to do the decoding. You will also need something called a 'vir...

AFAIK, you just download & install HDSR 2.76 and you get everything you need, ready to run.

Re: Entering A Freq. Via Mouse Scroll Wheel ?
I use the mouse wheel method. Whatever frequency the display shows can be altered by hovering the mouse over any digit and turning the mouse wheel. Even numbers that aren't showing can be changed (and of course they then appear).

Re: 75/50 ohm for RSP1a connection
There's no need to convert. The mismatch loss will be tiny and the quoted impedances are nominal, likely to be significantly different from the spec anyway.

Re: SDRUno 1.31 with Windows 7 issue
I (along with many others) suffered slowdown on my old Win7 Pentium 6200 laptop a while ago. Long story short it turned out to be an update bug that caused the machine to constantly check for Windows updates and use virtually all the processor and memory. This is a very common one so maybe you've al...

There's no way yet AFAIK. The MA button just allows that window to shut down all windows and close the program.

Re: Feedback for version 1.0a here
I would guess that like any RX, the '50 ohm' spec is purely nominal and will vary significantly with frequency, particularly when a filter band-edge is crossed.
