Re: RSPduo Bias-T

LNA4ALL.JPG The RSPDuo's Bias-T outputs 5 volts@100ma. Some versions of the LNA4All have their own on board 5 volt regulator and require a 6 to 9 volt Bias-T supply. Another version can operate with a 3.3-5V Bias-T according to the LNA4all website. http://lna4all.blogspot.com/. Was a spec sheet inc...

Re: Newbie RF frontend protection Qs

Two identical forward biased 1N4148 diodes in series with 2 volts applied to the circuit would result in a forward voltage of 1 volt per diode (assuming they are identical in characteristics). This would result in a forward current of about 50ma (from Figure 2 in the data sheet). The absolute maximu...

Re: Inability to include image in a post

I don't think the problem lies on your end. I also tried to attach an image and received this error:

"Error

Sorry, the board attachment quota has been reached."

Re: RSP-1 and SDRUno 1.23 and newer?

A major benefit of the switch to an API is that now I can access the full bandwidth (10 Mhz) of my RSP2 @ decimation=1. Prior to v1.23 I was limited to 4 Mhz. At 10 Mhz B/W, CPU usage runs about 14% with the API using about 5% for a total of 19%. Not bad at all. Thanks

Re: Ver 1.22 Menus

Pages from v1.jpg AFAIK there is no provision in SDRUno to store user defined bandwidth settings. Section 3.8 of SDRUno version v1.2 manual, not in 1.22 version!! 3.8 Changing the tuning step Each Mode has a default tuning step size. This can be changed by Right-clicking on the RX Control frequency...

Re: New Member/User from Scotland.

I use SDRSharp version 1361 (from 2015). Later versions will not work with the SDRPlay. Here is a link to a discussion on this forum concerning SDRSharp and the SDRPlay. There is a link to a version 1361 download there also. Unfortunately it does not include many plugins. Newer plugins are not compa...

Re: New Member/User from Scotland.

Hi Steven G: IMO the problems you are seeing are not the fault of your PC. I have the same issue as you. My max sample rate is 4 Mhz, above that SDRUno get's hiccups. I also have HDSDR, SDRSharp and SDRConsole installed -- all of these are able to use the full 10 MHz of the SDRPlay. From that I can ...

Re: SDRuno wont start properly

This can happen when attempting to use an SDRPlay that is connected to a USB 3.0 port.

Re: RTL-SDR & RSP1A conflict??

I didn't try to reproduce this issue, however I noticed that the RTL-SDR dongle is treated by Win10 in the same way as a thumbdrive or portable disk drive. It should be ejected by the user before removal. Perhaps this is the problem.
