Re: SDRuno and DMR decoding with DSD+

Hello, In this topic I gave my settings for decoding DMR with DSD+ 1.101: https://www.sdrplay.com/community/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=4181 ... Martien, PD1G Thanks very much for this. The following two settings were crucial: - SDRuno EX control DEEM: OFF 50uS and 75uS: OFF Setting these made the differen...

Re: SDRuno and DMR decoding with DSD+

G4enz, thank you. Can I ask which version you are using? I’m using the most recent, 1.31, but was going to try an earlier version to see whether it has the same problem. If what you are using works, then I will try that version. Interesting too that you use a 10kHz bandwidth. I was told that approx ...

Re: SDRUno 1.31 with Windows 7 issue

Well, you are comparing a 1st generation i7 which has 2 cores and 4 threads with an 8th generation i5 which has 4 cores and 8 threads. You are also running a mobile processor, which is designed to slow down under various circumstances, including overheating which can sometimes happen with older lapt...

Re: SDRuno on WINE

Joe, the problem with running SDRuno in WINE, is that WINE does not support USB ports. This means that SDRuno running on WINE cannot “see” any USB devices and therefore does not detect the RSP radio. The workaround is to use the RSP_TCP server instead. For this to work, you will need to download and...

Re: Scanner feature problems

G8PTN, thanks, and I take the points made in that thread. With regards to editing, I have usually kept a backup of the original file just in case... More recently I have used the Range option to search for active frequencies and populate the bank and just set scan to N for those that cause the scann...

Re: SDRUno extio to RSP-TCP - what am I doing wrong?

RickF, could this be down to antenna selection? I think RSP_TCP has a command line flag (-P I think) to select the antenna if you are using something other than the default port. AFAIK, the RSP_TCP Extio DLL is not supported with SDRuno versions 1.3 and 1.31, but it was my understanding that these n...

SDRuno and DMR decoding with DSD+

I recently tried decoding some DMR signals from a couple of local amateur radio repeaters. I used an RSP2 as well as an RTLSDR, an SDR program, a virtual audio cable and DSD+. I used the same process will each program: - set audio out in the program to the virtual audio cable - choose the virtual au...

Re: Scanner feature problems

It is possible to edit the memory file using any text editor (such as notepad) and change the filter bandwidth to any permissible value for the operating mode. Hi, yes, I picked up on that myself as I had a look a look inside on of the files and discovered it was just text. I was able to add more m...

Re: Scanner feature problems

Tech support, thanks for your very quick reply! Firstly, there is no reason that you cannot enter a step size of 8.33 kHz. All I can think of here is that you are either trying to edit a pre-defined preset (which is not possible) or you were trying to set the step-size whilst the scanner was already...

Scanner feature problems

I had some success using the new scanner feature in SDRuno to scan airband last night and this worked rather well, but I came across a some small issues which I would like to ask for help with. Firstly, I couldn't input a scan step of 8.33kHz? Is this not supported? Secondly, I know one can scan a f...
