Re: MegActiv MA305FT Antenna
Jim, its one of the better active antennas of the last 5 years. Have owned one for two years using it in my garden on a 5 meter pole and worked fine, but with a 50 cm element. It also was very usefull on my car also. I used the first MegActiv MA-305 and have no experience with the present FT model. ...

Re: Extending the range of a Discone antenna down to 3.6 MHz
Bas, I mostly check a balun with a VNA and after this is acceptable I fire up the W&G SPM30 and see what the attenuation is on various frequencies. When a balun has a good Return Loss figure the next thing is the resistance and SWR value.

Re: SDRUno Ready for Diversity RX With SDRDuo?
@Roger, Yes, I have used the Afedri822x with powersdr, but it works only with 192 kHz sample rate and I need at least 1600 kHz. Linrad works fairly good but is not intuitive to use. Its to clumbersome and it takes a long time to get a reasonable signal out of it. My hair has gone grey using it, LOL....

Re: SDRUno Ready for Diversity RX With SDRDuo?
@ support We publish our roadmap for software development to give our users an idea of how we are prioritising our development efforts. We do not publish timescales simply because it is extremely hard to predict how long certain tasks may take and what problems we may encounter. I did copy this from...

Re: SDRUno Ready for Diversity RX With SDRDuo?
@ Tech support and development. In May I bought the RSPduo in the hope of finally getting diversion reception running after 3 years waiting in vain with the Afedri AFE822x, which has also 2 receivers and never gained the software folow-up that it needed. Seen, the efforts that the SDR-play team show...

Re: DDE interface
Roger, SDRconsole v3.03 has all you want build in as standard. No need for extra third party software.
Good luck!

Re: Bias-t voltage
There are miniwhip designs with low voltage operation. Beware that the current limit is only 45 mA on the bias-T!

Re: RSPduo and HDSDR
Jon, Tuner 2 does not work on HDSDR 2.80 beta 9. Also it will only do single tuner (Tuner 1). This is with your latest ExtIO.

Re: Beam steering and noise cancelling possible with RSPduo?
Just to keep this thread active, I will second your request. In the past I also have used PowerSDR mRX with a Afedri 822x dual channel with succes. I bought the SRPduo as a upgrade and was hoping that it could be realized within a few months. I also have used a Timewave ANC4 and a MFJ-1026 that I mo...
