Re: POCSAG Decoding Headless
i did try a while back but didn't get it to work. first rx_tools program rx_fm which is supposed to be an alternative to rtl_fm but i've found it to be junk. secondly i tried the play_sdr app piped through csdr, i think it could work but it isn't at all user friendly and didn't figure out the right ...

re: the future 1.23 update audio recording.
hopefully this gets back to the devs. Would love to be able to set it up then leave it, record hourly per channel chunks or detect if a file was removed then make a new one. this would make it very handy for me to record some marine band channels remotely then pull the days recordings without having...

Re: Audio Recording
audacity has sound activated recording thing it that's ok for single channel use but where you have multiple channels it becomes a mash. i mostly listen to marine band and have rtl_airband on a raspberry pi listening 24/7 recording 8 individual channels to mp3, it's great but rtlsdr isn't as good as...

Re: Audio Recording
i'd love this too.
i think it's bizarre how many sdr apps can't record to wav/mp3, like were supposed to constantly sit next to a speaker 24/7.

Re: SDRuno Frustration
It has lots of features but the layout is a mess.
i currently have 18 marine channels enabled in SDRConsole v3 this would be unmanageable for me un SDRuno.

Re: CubicSDR working fine, Gqrx not so good.
Seem to have fixed along standing problem with stability in linux today, always had read glitches and would eventually end in a segfault involving libusb.
disappointing when you have a nice haswell rig.
i bought a usb3 pcie card and fingers crossed it's ran for hours without a single glitch.

Re: Web Interface not working dump1090
it does that for me too.
only "Bus 003 Device 011: ID 1df7:3010" displayed.
what psu are you using, running my rpi3 off a 2amp usb brick.

Re: Web Interface not working dump1090
by default the usb power is reduced in raspbian.
on the boot partition there is a config.txt file.
if you add it will unlock the full power, but have a good power supply.

Code: Select all
max_usb_current=1

Re: Web Interface not working dump1090
Had the same problem, found out you can run Modesmixer on the pi to get around this problem.
http://xdeco.org/?page_id=48
and now i can see the planes on a web page on 127.0.0.1:8888
no map though due to google.
