Re: Can I run SDRPlay on Raspberry pi 3 b+ without an image?
I used an Rpi3 to install the driver and then wrote my own C program to use the sampled data. Therefore I *know* you can install the driver and I can't imagine why any other app that is designed to work with the driver could not be installed as well. The SDRPlay website has the non-windows workflow ...

Re: RSP1A PC software on a Mac-is it possible
I use Parallels on my Mac (Windows 10 , VMs with both 32-bit and 64-bit versions but I only use the 32-bit for the SDRuno code) and it works well.

Re: Separation of antennae A and B
(Sorry but I can't edit this post - I have no idea what "two poll options" are that I need to select).
I mean to say that I'm using the SDRuno software (not the SDRplay software).

Separation of antennae A and B
Following on from a previous post (http://www.sdrplay.com/community/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=3006) I was playing around with my antennae last night and connecting them in various ways. One thing I noticed was that my discone (on aerial input A) was picking up a NOAA satellite better than my QFH (on aeria...

Re: Apple (i.e. macOS) now 4th largest PC manufacturer in the world.
It would be interesting to take away the office PCs and laptops from that graph and see the impact. I agree that Windows tends to be the most used where users don't get a choice and the computer is used for office/commercial tasks (I think Word/Excel/PowerPoint etc. would be some of the most heavily...

Re: uninstall drivers on Mac?
My guess would be that the cubic driver has grabbed the PID:VID combination for the RSP which is therefore hiding it from the rest of the system. I assume that you have rebooted the system (I know - a strange thing to do to a Mac!) as that might set things back to rights. Also I suspect that you sho...

Re: uninstall drivers on Mac?
I can't answer your question directly but I run a Windows VM (Parallels) and I have the driver installed on both then mu iMac and the Windows 10 VM without an issue. It probably depends on your VM hypervisor but I was under the impression that most of them made the USB port available to the VM as a ...

Re: Satellite reception freqs
Have you tried a Google search on 'stealth antennas'? While many of the hits will be for Amateur Radio band antennas and also those for transmitting, you may get some ideas that can be applied to your situation. What sort of roof do you have? Do you have metal foil in the walls? The satellite freque...

Re: Antenna Recommendation for L.E.O LRPT
*In Theory* at the frequencies in question, all of the signal is at the surface of the conductor (skin effect) so how thick the conductor is should not matter. Going from a tube to a solid wire might make a difference as it be considered there were 2 'skins' in the tube but that is a bit beyond my t...

But the Linux (and similar) OSs could be seen as 'mainstream'. It would really be nice to see a *nix version of SDRuno - after all there is a LInux (and MacOS) version of the API.
