Yes the RSP can be used as a Panadapter. Some users find that HDSDR software has the best features for this application.

Re: SDRuno with CW Skimmer
SDRuno does NOT provide IQ output to external programs so CW Skimmer will be limited to decoding CW signals in an audio (i.e. 3 kHz. channel) using a Virtual Audio Cable like VB Cable. If you use SDR-Console V3 or HDSDR they can output IQ samples to CW Skimmer and you can decode a much wider bandwid...

Re: 2 minor issues
mark: Regarding your second issue. I am running an RSP2. I have noticed that when the IF AGC is disabled merely opening the settings window in the Main panel will cause the IF AGC gain to change to a new value. For example: If you set IF AGC Gain to 20db and close the settings windows in the main p...

Re: SDR Console V3 recording playback navigator window
If you want to record hours of IQ data you need a way to analyse the files efficiently. SDR-Console V2 is a completed project unlike V3 which is not even in beta stage yet. SDR Console V2 has a companion Data Analyser program which is very effective at graphically analysing and playing recorded IQ f...

Re: Antenna sharing with transceiver, what I am doing
A couple of comments.... 1. SDRUno and SDR-Console both have a mute function in the software that will operate if you have a CAT connection with the transceiver. When you push the PTT button on the transceiver it will send a Tx command via CAT to Omni-Rig which forwards it to the SDR software. The S...

Re: Console 3 hangs
HI, Radio is Yaesu FTdx3000. Interface to radio is USB and OmniRig software at 38k baud on COM4. The SDRPlay version 1 SDR is connected to first stage RF output. When the system loads it senses the correct radio frequency but any manual change to the radio hangs the software which stops working. Ot...
Re: RSP1A
Sounds like a good setup! How are you protecting the front end of your RSP when you transmit?

Re: New User
SDRUno is quite accurate also, especially if you use the RSP Tuner AGC, which I do not. But the user interface is horrible for spectrum analyzer use, colors are not adjustable enough, and frequency span(zoom) and FFT resolution are not continuously adjustable as they are in SDR#. Have you looked at...

Re: RSP2 Pro HF reception question
When I tried switching to Ant B my HF problem went away and I could see and hear QSOs in progress! Thank you. Now I need to write to the folks at Sdrplay to see what they have to say about my Ant A port not apparently working. Thanks again, I look forward to now implementing Omnirig and interfacing...

Re: RSP2 and FM band sensitivity
Hello, I saw rsp2 and I would probably buy one. But I have a question: which is for FM band sensitivity 88 - 108 Mhz ? I want dx-ing with him in fm band. Thank you Here is a complete review of the RSP2 including FM sensitivity. http://www.sdrplay.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/09/QSTRSP2review.pdf An ...
