Re: RSP1A Longwave sensitivity

Hi Ralf, I agree, but I do not see your location in your post. Better you omit the useless we from the PC screens. Much better see large so with received levels & noise level floor. So from where you receive?

Re: RSP1A Longwave sensitivity

Hi Arcosine what is your receiver the 1a or the duo?

Hi ON5HB, you mean I do not need such sensitivity & the 1a is O.k.? For me one input is O.k.

Thanks!

Re: RSP1A Longwave sensitivity

Guys I want to buy a Rsp and now I am confused: must I get the 1a or the duo? For glovisol the duo is more sensitive by 35 db, very good. For Roger it is 123-101 = 22 db, good in one post and now is 14 db, not so hot in the last post. But the 1a is far cheaper. Can someone explain and help?

Re: RSP1A Longwave sensitivity

Hi z inputs cannot be compared with 50 ohm in of rsp1a. Better compare 50 ohm of all sets to have best idea.

Re: Coupling strategy test HF CENELEC B in a AC line

Do not take chances with unbalanced connections to the AC line. Use a small step/down transformer PRIMARY: 125 V Secondary: 5v Use one decoupling capacitor on each lead of the secondary, then a balanced H resistive 30/60 dB attenuator to the balanced input of the RSP. If signal still too strong, inc...
