Re: ubuntu 16.04: nothing works!
Hi, I got CubicSDR with SDRPlay working on Ubuntu Mate 16.04 using the following procedure. Thought i'd share my experience. I have done all your steps without success. All your steps are also my steps until now. The only difference was on wxWidgets build. All is working in compile pass and also in...

After a week from installation of Ubuntu 16.04 there is some progress?
Here, after each update to Ubuntu, I test CubicSDR with SDRPlay and I get a new crash.....

Re: sdrplay with Kubuntu 16.04
Done another test after updating Ubuntu 16.04 Changed 2 USB port (one is port used for SDRPlay with Ubuntu 14.03, the other is a frontal USB port) Non change. At startup of SDRPlay, after initial choice of device in CubicSDR, Ubuntu crash with 2 keyboard led flashing. CubicSDR is correctly working w...

Re: sdrplay with Kubuntu 16.04
I will re-test this evening
My last test is at 3 of May, without any improvement.
I am using same USB port as in Ubuntu 14.04
And in Ubuntu 14.04 CubicSDR is working without any problem.
On my desktop PC I don't have USB 3 port, so I can't reply your test.

Re: sdrplay with Kubuntu 16.04
Same here using Ubuntu 16.04 In 15.10 all is working without problem. After upgrading to 16.04 and recompiling all, SoapySRTUtil is OK but running CubicSDR freeze the computer. Running CubicSDR with an RTL-SDR device is OK Until correction of API by SDRPlay support is better don't update to 16.04 Re...

Re: sdrplay with Kubuntu 16.04
Some here, with Ubuntu 16.04/64 bit, after upgrading from Ubuntu 15.10 SoapySDRUtil is correctly working. CubicSDR is starting, find SDRPlay device but, after starting it, my PC is locked and I have 2 flashing leds on my keyboard. Only power off or reset is able to recovery. In 15.10 all was correct...

Re: SDRPLAY linux commandline tools?
Please give me some info. I am using a frequency of 89.3 MHz, so gain table is table at point 5.3 of API documentation, valid from 60 to 120 MHz There are 102 values for gain reduction in this table. In your code, calling mir_sdr_Init, the first parameter is 78-gain. So, using a gain value of 10 I u...

Re: SDRPLAY linux commandline tools?
Update after some more test. Using a value of gain of 40 and greater produce only noise A value of 10 20 or 30 produce a correct decoding, with audio better than RTL dongle So the problem is in using correct gain reduction. What correlation is used in your code? Is gain value a gain or a gain reduct...
