Given that SDRuno is still not available for Mac OS, how can this be replicated in GQRX or CubicSDR?

Try this: start GQRX, quit it immediately and start it again. That's the way it has to be done with the Mac version. It's a known bug there.

He wrote in the initial post that he gets 60 Vpp at his scope's input, so presumably with a very high load impedance. I suppose that with a load impedance of 50 ohms the voltage would be far lower.
