Re: Update SDRuno issue

There is an update to 1.23 - version 1.24. It is recommended for the RSPduo but works fine on my RSP1A.

You can turn off Auto Update checks in the OPT menu in the Main window.

Re: Mute SDRUno during transmit

Gary, For vintage rigs you might consider using an Arduino microcomputer (a few dollars) to monitor the PTT (SEND) line and output a Kenwood Tx command via the USB port to the RSP. The protocol for Kenwood rigs is very simple to implement and there would not be much programming involved. A good star...

Re: Faster AGC recovery is possible?

I have measured the audio latency and it is 300 to 450 milliseconds (varies depending on computer/USB performance). Even without the AGC response delay this is not suitable for contests. The best idea for a contest is to use an RF splitter in your SDR switch and receive your audio on the transceiver...

Yes I can confirm that this is a bug. I will send a bug report to SDRplay.

Re: SDRUno and N1MM+

SDRuno has two ways to connect to external programs and radios. One way is via OmniRig which you are already doing successfully. The other way, which can operate at the same time, is via the CAT interface which is in the VRX you are controlling. This interface uses a basic subset of the Kenwood prot...

Re: For Anyone With A RSP-2/RSP-1 and A Win Radio G-31 Excalibur

The WinWadio G31 Excalibur is a higher-cost, direct sampling receiver so it will have better overall performance than a tuner-based SDR (like RSP, RTL, Funcube and Airspy). However the RSP products will have similar sensitivity and are very cost-effective. An interesting comparison between the RSP1A...

Re: Upgrading SDRuno quickly and safely

Unfortunately you will lose all your settings when updating because they are stored in the registry and erased during updates. From 1.23 to 1.24 there were no functionality changes but improved interoperability with other software using the service API. If you are not using HDSDR or SDR Console at t...
