AM Broadcast Stations on 22 MHz
I have been away from SDRPlay for a little while now, and recently installed the latest version of SDRUno. As far as ease of use is concerned, not a lot has changed there, it still is quite a beast to drive. That said, I do really like the program and the RSP. Listening around tonight, I noticed tha...

Re: Long Wave and AM Broadcast interference
As I am using the HiZ input I am not able to use the MW notch.
The antenna is a 105m long-wire, to the positive terminal, N & G are bridged to ground (Earth stake).

Long Wave and AM Broadcast interference
Gidday all; I am pretty keen on long-wave DX, although right now I am struggling with AM Broadcast stations, for want of a better description - 'suprious images', since I don't know the correct technical term. Example: 3CS (Colac) 83 Km (52 Miles) ESE 102º from my location, S9+30/-42.5dBm on 1134 KH...

Re: RSP1A appropriate for complete beginners?
The only thing you risk with going the 'android phone' route is it will become 'just another app' and the interest will fall off quickly as it is more gimmicky then something tangible. Obviously cost is a big factor in this, I then suggest starting with a Raspberry Pi 3B+. This will give them the ca...

Re: New User - trouble with audio
I know this sound: It is more than likely that is is your computer running out of steam. I am currently running SDRUno on a laptop, i3 380M @ 2.53 GHz and 4Gb RAM. I can run a maximum of 3 VRX's without any issues, but two is the most comfortable. Apart from having a lot of Windows open, I cannot se...

Re: RSP1A appropriate for complete beginners?
I'm looking for an interesting Christmas present for my sons Chop... I'd love something that: is easy to use and can give an immediate reward out of the box - e.g. tuning into something they couldn't otherwise hear, transmitting to walkie-talkies, 'hearing' an SMS leave a mobile phone allows room t...

Re: VRX's and Recording (Two separate issues)
Hello VK3MHZ, Alternatively if you are only interested in recording the audio that you are listening to, you can use a program such as Audacity to record just the audio and this will hugely reduce the amount of disc space that you use. Hopefully someone will be able to help you with your other ques...

VRX's and Recording (Two separate issues)
First issue - VRX's: This is not an issue with SDRUno or the RSP2, I am pretty confident on that. What is happening is when I have two VRX's running, after awhile the second VRX stops receiving - all indications tell you it is working fine (from what I can tell) yet no one is home. Obviously I am do...

Re: How can I get SDR Uno to remember the last windows that were open?
Make sure the windows you want to be open next time you start the program are open and visible on the screen when you shut down SDRUno. All my windows restore when restarted without any issues.
