Default SSH username for the SDR Play Pi image
Hi Just installed a fresh image of the SDR Play Rasp Pi Distrubtion But cannot SSH to it Just get a Connection closed by 192.168.1.49 port 22 If I swap SD cards for a fresh standard Raspbian Stretch Image I can SSH straight in with user ‘Pi’ and pwd ‘raspberry’ But the SDR Play image I cannot SSH to...

Have given up on the whole SDR thing...waht I want can't be done for less than about £4000 and dedicated box, so am going to leave it

Have you tried this? https://etcher.io It's magnificent at turning ISOs into bootable USBs on OSX. Yes , tried that tried the stick I created on both Mac Pro's the 2,12 and the 3,1 and also an old MacBook. Yes, it was etcher that I used
It worked successfully to create usb image and it did boot a laptop... (shock horror, I do have a Windows laptop ... Win10... no idea I had it! )
So down to the Mac just... well being a Mac I guess

Well does not seem I have any hardware suitable....:( Cant get Skywave to boot the Mac though the app that created the boot was supposed to create EFi compatible USB. Have booted it before..and my DVD burner seems to have died... can't burn the ISO to DVD either ggrrrrrrrr.......day got off to a bad...

Yes, that particular link was frequency limited, but at least it does show that the ability to all it to work on am iOS device is there. The channel scanning speed would not be a great issue, the bands I was considering were all within a (relatively ) close spacing 118-160Mhz. and scan speed as long...

These guys have a working mobile Safari iOS enabled SDR that does near enough what I want.
Stores frequencies, but no scanning of saved channels.
