Re: All images are black
I am sorry sir, but I have to correct you. The downloads from all NOAA sats are black. There are no visible images ie, one image has the outline of NZ with rivers, lakes and cities showing in the selected colours but it has black background as expected as one always comes like that but the other ima...

All images are black
Hello All. I have accidentally touched something or maybe changed something accidentally but after the NOOA sat has gone over all my images are black except 'raw' I think, there is an outline of NZ (my country) but even that has a black background. Other then that every image is a black square, what...

137100000 or 137900000 for Meteor M2
Hello everyone.
I am getting very confused as I am only very new to the WX Sats. I have watched video's read articles. Some say the Freq for Meteor M2 is this while others say something very different.
Please, could those who track it share the freq with me.
Thank you for any replies.

Re: Can I get Meteor m2 with RSP1a and SDRuno
Again, Mike, I thank you for your assistance. You are obviously very versed in this hobby. Are you able to tell me why, when I installed Orbitron with SDRuno it affects SDRuno to such an extent that it won't open so I have to re-install SDRuno. I have a fairly new and powerful computer with W10. I a...

Re: Can I get Meteor m2 with RSP1a and SDRuno
Wow, that's brilliant Mike. I have Sharp# installed, So now I need the QPSK pluggin and the DDE Tracking pluggin. This is all new to me, but nothing the net won't explain. Thanks very much Mike. I have the SDR RSP1a so all should be good. Again many thanks, and for such a quick answer too. Jim ZL2BMH

Can I get Meteor m2 with RSP1a and SDRuno
Hello All. I'm having a great time with my RSP1a. I have worked out the SDRuno, what a great piece of software. Downloading the NOAA weather Satellites is brilliant fun. Like everything, what can I add now? I see the Russian Sat (Meteor-m2.) I read a few articles but I'm afraid at my age, I can't do...

Re: Is this a worthwhile addition
Thank you, Sir, I really appreciate it. I am trying to learn as I go. The multipsk looks like an awesome program but might take a bit of study as I'm plugging along trying to understand SDRuno which I really like but will obviously like a lot more when I handle it correctly. I must say, thank goodne...

Near field to transmission antenna
Hello All. As the manual says, don't run the receiving antenna (in my case a wire approx 10meters) near the field of your transmission antenna. So what distance would you think that would be? I have a very small backyard that contains a 33ft mast with a 4 element Yagi, and an 80-40 meter wire (which...
