SDRuno with the Funcube Pro
I wanted to revisit using my FCD with SDRuno, something I last did prior to purchasing my RSP2. I remember getting an EXTIO dll and placing this in "Documents" so that SDRuno would offer me the choice to select the FCD. Only thing is, this no longer seems to work. When I launch SDRuno, it either sei...

Re: SW Recommendation(s) for Newbie
I use all of them. HDSDR has some excellent tools for measuring signal strength and saving the values to a file for subsequent study. SDRuno has the best AM and FM audio, I use it for all my "listening" work. SDR Console has the best control of frequency / waterfall / bandwidth, I use it as my panad...

Re: MRP40 a MORSE Code decoder/transmitter
I compared a bunch of cw decoders a while back and settled on fldigi as the best performer. You need to play around with levels, squelch, bandwidth, CW speed and speed tolerance but, once you get the hang of it fldigi is very good. Oh, it can transmit too but, I haven't used this feature. 73 Martin ...

Re: SDRuno suggestions...
My suggestion is a faster 'slow' setting for the waterfall. HDSDR has a variable speed, but Uno has only a x100 setting which is very slow. I have just done a little test looking at the SP2 waterfall when set to its maximum height. With refresh rate slider set to minimum I see 65 seconds of history...

Squelch in relation to gain reduction
Firstly, thank you for the excellent RSP2 and SDR Uno software. I am having great fun exploring their capabilities. I have but one minor niggle... When a strong station (like a local repeater) fires up it triggers automatic gain reduction and affects squelch thresholds. I find I am constantly adjust...

Re: Sample Rate Selection Issues
Mike,
The sample rates and decimation choices you describe are associated with IF Mode "Low-IF". Why you suddenly change from Zero-IF to Low-IF, I don't know but if it happens to you, flipping it back in settings will be easier than toasting the registry.

Re: Record file size
Frank,
If you right click on the recording panel it will let you select the folder it will use to store your recordings. I don't know the answer to your question about file size.

Re: Saving a Workspace
John,
Workspaces only save the layout of Windows - size, position etc. They do not save any of the RX setting - frequency, mode etc. To save the later, use memories.

Re: The new SDRPlay: RSP2
Thanks that helped, as did the "SDRuno 1.11 with the RSP2" video. Presumably, you tweet when new videos are released.

Re: The new SDRPlay: RSP2
I see there are 3 connections on the Hi-Z RF port. Can anyone tell me what these 3 connections are? I have found documentation for SDRUno but nothing for the physical RSP2.
