Re: Tuning steps again.
Apologies for mentioning it in the wrong place, but I've seen this matter mentioned so often on here and on the FB pages that I assumed it was already 'on the list'. I've just gone to my laptop and: 1. Opened up a single RX in SDRUno 2. Select WFM. Note step size is shown as 100 kHz. 3. Now select U...

Re: can't get sdrplay to work with e4000 2832 dongle
If you are using SDRUno, check that you are entering frequencies in the right format. Simply typing 91.5 <enter> will put you on 91.5 kHz, not MHz. Use the blue MHz button instead. That's about the only thing I can think of.

Tuning steps again.
I've just installed Uno 1.32 and all went smoothly as usual, but is there any sign of a fix for the tuning step problem? If I use WFM and then select USB, the step stays on 100kHz and I have to change it manually. In fact the whole tuning step arrangement seems a bit chaotic. Sorry to moan, but it's...

Re: Bias tee
Could you post a screenshot? I use SDRUno 1.31 with my RSP2 so it's a bit different to what you'll see with the RSP1-a, but here it is anyway:

Re: sdrouno window snap?
My main gripe is that only a couple of the windows can be 'sized' to fit. The others are fixed in size, making some arrangements impossible.

Re: LW-MW-SW Relay Tuned 15' Noise Reducing Vertical Antenna
Ian, in regard of the bonus points. The version of 'Let it All Hang Out' that I remember was by a certain J. King in (about) 1970, although I think it was his version of an earlier hit by someone else. Do I get a small prize? :D Sorry mods for going off-topic, but any mention of bonus points gets me...

Re: Antenna for SAQ reception with RSP2
Here is SAQ as received on the loop this morning with my RSP-2. Lots of electrical spikes today, but copy is still good.

Re: why? wont it just run already?
Best advice right now would be to click on 'support' and open a ticket. The people at SDRPlay are very helpful and will have you going in no time. Most installations go perfectly and the RSP is receiving within 5 minutes or less, but sometimes a problem with the Windows installation can stop it work...

Re: Audio stuttering despite low CPU
Hello Patrick. That does sound strange. I've never used the recording facility, but with 'live' listening I can go right up to 10 MHz bw without any problems as long as I'm not running anything in the background. My laptop is fairly modest, an i5 at 2.4 GHz with 8 GHz ram. It's worth checking there ...

Re: Antenna for SAQ reception with RSP2
PA0MHE. Me again. OK, I've just found a few notes I made when I was building this LF loop. The hula-hoop is about 80cm diameter and there are six turns of wire threaded through the tube. This gives 125 uH and to tune it to 20 kHz took (get this) 470 nanofarads or 0.47 uF. Tweaking this value could l...
