I was going-around-in-circles with my RSP1A Receiver (see my tale-of-woe here : https://www.sdrplay.com/community/viewt ... =11&t=3000) and then I sent in a request for assistance to the SDRplay Support Helpdesk Team.
Steve Brightman, who is located only a few miles from me (so we can both 'see' the same AM broadcast spectrum), quickly replied and in two days of intense back-and-forth messaging the problem was 'fixed' - though precisely what-it-was ... that's still a mystery.
