Spectrum Analyser V1.0a now available for download

Postby SteveAndrew » Thu Mar 21, 2019 6:49 am

Hello everyone

RSP-Spectrum Analyser V1.0a is now available to download.

Here is a link to a page regarding the new version, https://www.sdrplay.com/spectrum-analyser/ the page includes a download link.

You can also download it from the download page at https://www.sdrplay.com/downloads/

The user manual can be found in the install folder. The default folder is c:\Program Files (x86)\Andrew Developments\RSP-Spectrum Analyser. Arduino Trackgen firmware HEX files may also be found in the ArduinoFirmware folder. The manual is an interim version. The release notes for V1.0a are on the first page of the manual. please read them. There is much to add to the manual and I'll post any major updates on this thread provided SDRplay are agreeable. I don't know if the administrator is going to make this a sticky thread or not. In the meantime, please post all bug reports, questions and observations to this thread.

No further additions will be made to this version, so the time to the beta release will depend on how quickly the reported problems are cleared and tested.

V1.0 has been a bit long in arriving but I hope you think the wait will have been worthwhile. The response to the original version was quiet gratifying and certainly spurred me on to get a much-enhanced version completed. None if that could have happened without the support of all the chaps at SDRplay. An outstanding bunch who have freely offered their advice and observations when asked, and without that support, this version would not be what it is - Many thanks to you all.

Best regards

Steve

I've just noticed that the administrator has opened a new thread call Feedback for V1.0a here. Please use that thread for all posts relating to V1.0a. Thank you.

Nice software. I am thinking to buy a RSPduo because of this.
Is Linux supported or ar there plans to support it in the future?

There are no plans to port to Linux at the moment. That's not to say it won't happen though, just not soon.
