Hi Am new here and enjoying the RSP1A however I would really like to decode ACARS and eventually satellite signals.
I looked at Multipsk and the set up, Multipsk registration quite expensive for me and also the virtual cable set up sounds quite complicated.
Was wondering if anyone can suggest an easier option to decode ACARS RSP1A please? Many thanks.

MultiPSK is not all that expensive and will give you ACARS, VDL2, HFDL, ADS-B and AERO (L-Band ACARS) so as you are interested in aircraft this would be a good purchase. VAC is pretty simple to install as well

I guess 'expensive' is a relative thing and 30Euro (the price of the license as of my viewing the web site today) may be too much for a limited budget.
I would suggest that you start off by trying to install the VAC software (or the free VB-Cable) and see how you go. Come back here if you get stuck telling us what you did, what error messages you are getting and we may be able to get you past the problem.
To start off with, there are other ACARS decoding programs that are free that can get you started. They probably won't help with any other types of signal - but other free software packages might - but at least you can see if you want to pursue the idea and perhaps then pay for the MultiPSK to do it all in the one place.
