Multipsk

Post by mmaynard » Tue Jan 29, 2019 2:52 am

I am decoding ACARS with Multipsk. I would like to display planes on a map or Google Earth. The program is not saving planes locations in data_acars.txt so nothing will display. I understand that no all decodes contain position. I have seen long/lat info in some decodes. Any ideas?

Unfortunately, unless the position data is located in the exact part of the acars message that multipsk expects it to be (or even the exact format), then it won't be read by multipsk. I've noticed quite a few positions slip past the program on a daily basis.
