Hello whiteghost,
Are you using port B? This is the default port for dump1090.

I suggest that you open a support ticket via www.sdrplay.com/support

Please provide details of the software that you have installed, what OS you are using, how you run the software and exactly what you see. Ideally, please provide screen shots.

Sincerely

Perhaps that's your problem, the comet gp-9 is a Dualband (2m / 70Cms) base station antenna and not one specifically for ADS-B signals at 1090 Mhz!

The discone should work fine if it is mounted correctly (outside and as high as possible). You will get much better performance if you build a simple multi-element co-linear antenna.
