Hello there,
what's the best way to connect an ALA1530LNP to the sdrplay2 ? The ala1530 has a 50 ohm bnc connector and I assume that, for 0-20 Mhz, I have to connect it only to the Hiz input... Shall I use a 9:1 balun like the Nooelec one ?? ? Thanks a lot
Franz

You can use a balun if you want, but it works fine on the Hiz input without. I made an adaptor lead with an inline BNC socket leading to a short 'twisted pair' to connect to the Hi-z. Works just fine.

Ive seen wideband survey software like rtl_power, but they only seem to work with the RTL dongle. Does anyone know of similar software that uses the EXTIO interface? Id like to use it with my SDRPlay.
