Record fails with "Unable to create a new output WAV file"

Post by JJ_in_TN » Wed Jun 07, 2017 10:34 pm

The subject says it all. SDRuno installer 1.13, Windows 7 SP1 fully patched. I tried running the program as Administrator with no difference. After it fails I must restart SDRuno to try again as the red record button no longer has any effect.

Anyone have any ideas?

Check your setup. First thing I'd look for is whether the folder path you've specified actually still exists. Does your target drive have enough free space. Creating the WAV file may require Windows to reserve disc space & you don't have enough the process will fail. This happens if your target drive is a small thumb drive; less likely if it's your system HDD. Can't think of anything else off hand.
