Re: RSP1A Basic functionality test - checking second hand device
Hello Clack, You have set your RF attenuation almost to absolute maximum. This will substantially degrade your receiver sensitivity and would also only be required if you had an extremely strong signal. Please push the slider down to the bottom and that will raise your RF gain to something more usab...

Re: RSP1A Basic functionality test - checking second hand device
Hello Clack, I'm not quite sure how you have managed it, but whilst the Rx Control panel frequency is indicated at 100 MHz, the actually frequency as indicated in the SP1disply is 199.999.750 MHz which is why you are not seeing anything. Try setting the frequency again and ensure that the frequency ...

Re: Why do my posts suddenly need moderator approval?
The result is that, any time technical nonsense comes about, but otherwise respects "forum rules", Tech_Support is obliged to APPROVE, THEREBY IMPLICITLY and EXPLICITLY ENDORSING NONSENSE AND ERRORS THAY MAY MISLEAD OTHER FORUM MEMBERS. Re: Why do my posts suddenly need moderator approval?
As all will now see, as well as the forum rules being listed in the Terms section and the registration page (as they have always been), they are now highlighted in a red banner at the top of each section or thread, so now no one should have any problems in finding them.

Re: Why do my posts suddenly need moderator approval?
Anyone joining this forum has to agree to abide by the forum rules, which are clearly listed at the time. If they decline to abide by these rules, then they are not permitted to join. In addition, if you look at the bottom of any page, click on the "Terms" and you will see a full listing of the foru...

Re: Why do my posts suddenly need moderator approval?
Dear sdrom33, What makes you think that by using the term "aggressive lobbying" I am referring to public posts as opposed to other types of communication? You are of course quite correct in listing the definition of the term "Censor" but in common usage it is an emotive term and can have very differ...

Re: Why do my posts suddenly need moderator approval?
We do not censor posts . We only disallow posts that breach our forum rules. We have been very clear as to what those rules are. This action would never have been necessary had certain individuals respected the forum rules, which despite repeated requests, they didn't. It is ironic that some of the...
