Re: SDRuno and DMR decoding with DSD+
From my research so far, there seems to be a plugin available for SDR#. https://www.rtl-sdr.com/tetra-decoder-plugin-for-sdr-now-available/ https://www.rtl-sdr.com/sdr-tetra-plugin-updated-no-longer-requires-msys2/ https://www.hamdigitaal.nl/2018/01/tetra-decoder-plug-in-voor-sdr/ This will work wit...

Re: SDRuno and DMR decoding with DSD+
Thanks but doing a search on here was able to find only one other post which was just a passing reference. Having searched online, I found SDRAngel, SDRAngelove and rtl-SDRAngelove. Not sure which one to use, but I cloned the first one. I must admit to being put off by the size of the package and th...

Re: Running SDRPlay and 2 programs at the same time
Unlikely. Once a program connects to the device USB port, that port is now busy and not available to another program. Thats why the second program does not find an available SDR. It is already in use by the first one.

Re: Using the SDRPlay RSP1A via network connection possible ?
The equivalent of rtl_tcp for the RSP is rsp_tcp which can be downloaded from the downloads section on the SDRPlay website. Im not sure whether the RTL Extio will work with this or whether you will need the Extio plugin TCP from SDRplay, but it should work in the same fashion in principle.

I am curious what software you are using for the spectrum analyser?

Re: SDRuno and DMR decoding with DSD+
Martien, thanks. I had a look at that frequency range, but it seems mostly clear over here. I will have another look later in the evening. It might also be that I need a better antenna for that frequency range.

Re: Easier Software
Scanning the FM broadcast band seems to be a bit trickier than airband. I found the setting for the threshold to be quite critical. If you get frequencies into the bank that do not have stations on them or miss a lot of stations, adjust the threshold up or down for the best balance. I had to adjust ...

Re: Easier Software
Li, you don’t mention whether you using this on Windows, Mac or Linux, however, from the SDRplay website you can also download other SDR software such as HDSDR (Windows) and CubicSDR (Mac, Linux): https://www.sdrplay.com/downloads/ SDR# (SDRsharp) will also work but you will need to install the Exti...

Re: SDRUno extio to RSP-TCP - what am I doing wrong?
Sorry, I have the RSP2 which has 3 antenna ports and I had run into this problem, but I didn't realise that the RSP1A has only one antenna port. That being the case, it definitely can’t be down to antenna selection then. Its curious about the 16 bit mode though. Maybe -b 16 doesn’t work because the ...

Re: GQRX or HDSDR
Having used all 3, I would say that HDSDR is the easiest to use and SDRplay do supply a version pre-configued with RSP drivers via their website. In its favour, SDRuno has configuration options and the latest version has a scanner feature that the others do not have. If that’s not of interest then I...
