I'm pretty sure you'll need an RTA of some sort. I use the RTA in my Behringer X18 mixer. The PL tones stick out like a sore thumb.

Re: RSP Spectrum analyser software available shortly
Excellent news! My noise source and SWR bridge are on their highspeed rowboat from China. Steve will probably have the full release by the time they get here.

Re: Sdruno, IC 7300, MFJ1708 help
Have you tried it with that "Enable & Connect" unchecked? I'm using an FT-991 (it has a USB port and sound card built-in, so my mileage may vary) but mine is unchecked. My Omnirig looks the same as yours other than the Com settings ( I also run it faster at 38400). I use Com 4 (my Enhanced Com port)...

Re: Sdruno, IC 7300, MFJ1708 help
Are you guys using the "ORIG" section in the "RX Settings" of the RX Control, or the "cat" menu in that same box? People get confused with those two. Use the "ORIG" tab..(for Omnirig) NOT the "cat" tab. The other thing is to make sure "RSYNC1" is highlighted (mine turns orange). It's also in the "RX...

Re: RSP Spectrum analyser software available shortly
I think I just realized we'll be able to use this as an antenna analyzer from HF through (at least) the 70 cm band? Am I wrong?

Re: Connection to Yaesu FTDX3000
I'm interested in purchasing the MFJ-1708SDR to connect my Yaesu FTDX3000 and SDRplay RSP2pro to the same antenna. However, I have a question. From what I've read, the MFJ-1708SDR uses the PTT signal from the transceiver to initiate the switching. On the Yaesu FTDX3000 side, where do I connect the ...

Re: RSP Spectrum analyser software available shortly
Please forgive my ignorance. Am I correct in assuming a minor amount of hardware (other than the RSP) will be needed for this tool? If so, what will I need? I'd like to have things ready.

Re: SDRPlay2 with Icom 718
I use the DXE RTR-1A with an FT-991. Do you want to control the SDRPlay via the 718? I'm not familiar with it, but if you have the 718 talking to your computer, the only other software you'll need is "Omni-Rig" if you want to control SDRUno or SDR Console with your 718.

Re: Having Have SDRuno Control External HF Radio's Frequenxy
"I should also mention that I am controlling my TS-590SG via Omni-Rig. Not by SDRuno CAT control." Now I'm confused. :-) Been trying to get SDRUno to "play nice" with my FT-991. Nothing but a " VRX#0: The specified com device doesn't exist or is already open," warning. I use omni-rig with SDR Consol...
