Sampling rate vs. max USB rate
I have a question regarding the sampling rate. The SDRplay is specified with max 10 MS/s. With 14 bit for each sample and twice of that for I and Q. This is a data rate of 10 * 14 * 2 = 280 Mbit/s But the USB 2.0 interface can only transfer 40 Mbit/s maximum. That looks strange, what is the mistake ...
