Re: SDRuno on Linux
Thank you for your interest in my work! Yes, I was just using the default configuration and both of these options were checked. Unchecking these options does indeed facilitate changing the IP address. Steps* as follows: 1. Connect RSP to PC. 2. Start rsp_tcp 3. Start SDRuno EXTIO 4. OPT | Select Inp...

Re: RSP_TCP Server ExtIO with HDSDR in wine
Yes, I agree that it would be good if the ExtIO for RSP_TCP server played nice on WINE. I haven't tried it with HDSDR or CubicSDR yet, but I recently set it up with SDRuno. It works fine on the local machine, but frequently 'freezes' when you try to change the IP address to a remote host. Even if yo...
Re: sdruno
What "dongle" are you referring to? If you mean the RSP, then it needs to be plugged into the USB port before you run SDRuno. If you mean an RTLSDR dongle, then you need to use the EXTIO version of SDRuno with the RTLSDR EXTIO dll. More information on this here: https://www.rtl-sdr.com/using-the-sdr...

Re: SDRuno on Linux
Thank you for pointing that out. I forgot that these settings were in that dialogue. When experimenting with this a bit further, I ran into some difficulties. For example, I suddenly found that SDRuno would not initialise properly, showing just a black box with an outline of some form objects. One t...

You must enter at least two poll options.
Whenever I try to edit any post today I am getting: You must enter at least two poll options. I thought, or rather hoped, that problem had been fixed, but it seems to be back again. It is very frustrating to have to delete posts and re-type them every time one wants to correct a typing issue. I am h...

Raspberry Pi with RSP_TCP - audio issues
I have been experimenting with RSP_TCP as I thought it would be a neat idea to hook up my RSP2 to a Pi and control it remotely. I have managed to get this working sort off, but I cannot get clean audio. I have a Pi v3 and and did a fresh minimal install of Raspian, i.e. command line only - no GUI. I...

SDRuno on Linux
I have been wanting to try SDRuno on Linux but having searched this forum and read some of the posts, this initially seemed an unlikely possibility. Nevertheless, I decided to see for myself, and to that end installed SDRuno into WINE (installer file SDRplay_SDRuno_Installer_1.22.exe) as I was curio...

I am curious why the Broadcast group does not have an FM button for 88-108MHz?

Re: SDRPlay RSP1A + OpenSuse + CubicSDR + PulseAudio + Dream
I have recently been trying to achieve the same thing on either Windows or Linux. This evening I was working with SDRuno on Win7 and Dream 2.1.1-svn808. I picked up a strong stream on the waterfall at 7030kHz. I had already set up the "virtual cable" between SDRuno and Dream and I experimented with ...

Re: What is the Digital button for in SDRuno?
Thank you for those links. I am in the midlands and the repeater in Markfield is not too far away from me (approx 10 miles). I tried listening on the frequencies indicated (439.625MHz and 439.750MHz) on NFM mode but didn't see any transmission waterfalls. I did catch a couple of short bursts of wate...
