Hello John,
As well as this forum, if you are a Facebook user, there is a very active (and friendly) public Facebook group where you can get lots of helpful inputs, tips and advice at https://www.facebook.com/groups/sdrplay/?fref=ts

Re: SDRPlay and Windows XP
Hello Pat,
I am afraid that the RSP does not support USB 1.0. USB 1.0 simply doesn't provide sufficient bandwidth for even the lowest sample rates required by the RSP.

Re: Problem with RSP
Hello Aether, We will need to look into this and get back to you about the erratic tuning behaviour as this seems rather strange. Regarding the DAB images that you are seeing, I believe that we can explain that. At HF and for frequencies between 240 MHz and 380 MHz, the RSP uses a dual conversion he...
Re: Decode
Hi Richard, For digitally encoded signals on HF such as DRM, if you use something like HDSDR or SDR# to control the RSP, you will still need a virtual audio cable to pipe the output to decoding software. The RSP simply selects the wanted signal but does not perform any signal processing. SDRplay Tec...

Re: Newbie questions
Hello Sasan, The upgrade to deliver a gapless receiver will be as a result of a software upgrade to the API, not hardware. Existing owners of the RSP will be able to update their software to get gapless coverage. Please note though that whilst we are confident of a good outcome to this development, ...

Re: EXTIO V2.1 Well done!
Hi CaptainNemo You can't change the ADC set-point 'on-the-fly' in V2.1, but if you stop the play before changing the set-point and then re-start, it will function correctly. If changing the set-point on-the-fly for AGC is considered important we can certainly look into this for future releases. Rega...

Re: SDRplay with gr-osmosdr: a few answers, many questions
Please bear in mind that Dimitri didn't develop the latest osmosdr library. We did, so it is asking a bit much to expect him to fix the issues. We are aware that there are problems with GQRX, and we will fix it, so please bear with us. The Mirics library does not support the necessary front end swit...

Re: EXTIO V2.1 Well done!
Anything at 2 MS/s or above is the 'real sample rate' anything below that is effectively achieved by decimation (sample rate conversion), but the ADCs still run at 2MS/s and this data is passed across the USB interface. We are investigating the issue first brought up by NN4F, but it appears to be a ...

Re: New version of SDRPlay?
Not a new version as such. We are looking at the possibility of an upgrade to the API that would remove the 'gap'. This is still 'work in progress', so we can't make any specific promises at this point.
