Re: How to change freq on Laptop without wheel mouse

As, I said, everything is working fine on my laptop. I like SDRUno. I had a learning curve, but it wasn't that long. Mostly, I discovered that the software can do a lot more than I could discover in one sitting. There is more access to the gain controls and individual filters in SDRUno than in the ...

Re: Just downloaded SDR UNO 1.13

I only had this problem on my laptop, my desktop never presented this same problem. It did not matter how I was zoomed into the waterfall, all the way in or all the way out or in between, it would only allow me to scroll up to just under 3900 until I set the LO close into the band or even somewhere ...

Re: No IF vs Low IF - when, why, and how?

Ah that's where they put it. in 1.04 there was a separate window for the Lo If and No If settings. This new place is right there. Glad it was not a snake. LOL

When set to Lo If how lo is the if?

Re: Just downloaded SDR UNO 1.13

Interesting. Before I set the LO I could not scroll the whole 80m band. the Lo was so far off the band I could only see a part of the band. I had to set the LO. Others might need to as well.

Re: No IF vs Low IF - when, why, and how?

This may seem like a stupid question but,

How and where does one set either "LO IF" or "No IF" in the newest version of SDR UNO?

I seem to be having trouble finding this setting window.

Two RSP1's on one PC

I now have two RSP1's. The second I purchased for portable/mobile operation with my laptop. I decided to try and use it on my PC at the same time as my first RSP1. I use the first RSP1 to monitor 5 VFO's on digital modes with Fldigi. This one is working with SDR Console V2 The second RSP1 I am using...

Re: Just downloaded SDR UNO 1.13

As it turns out it was the LO freq causing this problem. To set the LO freq I had to, 1. Stop the RSP-1 operation 2. Set the freq where I wanted the LO 3. Close SDR UNO 4. Reopen SDR UNO, the LO would then match the freq I previously set 5. Activate LO Lock 6. Start SDR UNO Then I could move my freq...

Re: How to change freq on Laptop without wheel mouse

Interesting that the up/down arrows work on your laptop but not on mine. That is very curious. I have a Toshiba Sattelite. For now I just switched from SDR Uno the HDSDR. It too bad too because SDR Uno is a good software. Just not setup well for laptops. Laptops are fast replacing desktop PCs. W9KJO

Re: How to change freq on Laptop without wheel mouse

The Manual says that the up/down arrows are suppose to change freq in VRX by the step size.

How do I turn this on? It is not working on my PC.

Re: How to change freq on Laptop without wheel mouse

Is there a setting for this function because when I click on the top or bottom of any digit a freq enter window opens.

Some time one just needs to nudge up or down a few digits and that is possible with a wheel mouse but not so easy on a laptop
