Re: Need help with Wellbrook Loop & SDRplay/SDRuno
I've had extremely great results using a 1800KHz high pass filter between the antenna and the input of the RSP that attenuates the MW broadcast band by more than 40 dB. The advantage of this over a preselector is there is no need to constantly re-tune every time you change the receive frequency. Whe...

Re: Some thoughts on SDRUno.
Speaking about the ergonomics of the filter group of controls, it would be nice if when you <shift>-left-click or <shift>-right-click in the SP2 window to set filter 1 or 2 if that filter would turn on without having to move the mouse to the RX window to enable it.

Re: Compatibility issues with SDRuno v1.2, HDSDR & SDR#
Since this worked in v1.11 it doesn't seem that legacy issues should be such an obstacle. Also, Couldn't any firmware settings that need to be persisted just be saved in ram when stopped and then re-initialized when re-started? It sure would be nice to have this play nicely with all the other progra...

Re: Compatibility issues with SDRuno v1.2, HDSDR & SDR#
Is the SDRuno not doing the release when it is stopped? Anything that needs to be set could be done when the start button is clicked, so no need to hold on to it. Since SDRuno doesn't persist a lot of its state it's a real pain in the rear to have to keep closing and re-opening the program just to g...

Compatibility issues with SDRuno v1.2, HDSDR & SDR#
With SDRuno ver 1.11 you can have it and HDSRD and SDR# all three loaded and switch between them without having to exit each program and reloading the one you wish to use, as long as you stop the playout on all but one at a time. Starting with SRDuno v1.12 and continuing with v1.12.2 if SDRuno is lo...

Re: SDRuno and DAB FM Digital Sidebands?
Just for the record, "HD radio" is "Hybrid Digital Radio" not "high definition" as many providers would have you believe. To me HD radio doesn't sound as good as standard analog FM stereo given sufficient signal strength. The advantage of HD radio is that as long as there is enough signal to decode ...

Re: how do u calibrate sdruno...
Every time you re-start SDRuno it puts you back on the DC spike...The only place you never want to be...how stupid is that?!?!?! Many of the settings are not persisted, LO is one of them, so LO = tuned frequency at startup. My startup list is as follows; 1. un-zoom SP1 window (don't know why it alwa...
