Re: Antenna for SAQ reception with RSP2
For most of my LW/MW and HF listening I use a Wellbrook 1530 loop to help keep the noise down, as wires are very noisy in an urban environment. However, the 1530 falls off below 30 kHz and only just receives SAQ, so I built a similar loop using a plastic hula hoop with a few turns of wire inside and...

Re: SDRPlay Duo no HF ;)
If you can post a screenshot of SDRUno clearly showing your settings it would help a lot. In the meantime I'd remove all external tuners etc and see if that does the trick.

Re: SDRuno and DSD+
DRM is not something I've tried so far, but I would imagine that any audio filtering should be turned off, and make sure noise reduction and noise blanking are off as well. Check you haven't got any active notches. AFAIK, post detection band pass filter is disabled anyway on AM modes. Try a nice wid...

Re: FREQUENCY BAND FREEZING
Is your Windows 7 fully updated? SDR uno runs well on my old W7 laptop, but it wasn't happy until I made sure I had all the new updates.

Re: FREQUENCY BAND FREEZING
Can you install your system on another computer to see if the problem persists? This kind of laggy behaviour is certainly not normal.

Re: FREQUENCY BAND FREEZING
Hello. I suppose the first question is whether it has done this from day one or if it is a problem that has started after weeks/months of satisfactory operation? If it's a new installation, then how about a lack of steam in your PC? Old or 'full up' computers can cause this due to poor processor per...

Re: Best antenna no good signals?
If you are receiving no signals at all, I suspect there is something more basic wrong. Two things spring to mind: If you are using a pl259/sma adaptor, check that it's not a reverse type - there should be a central pin which mates with the hole in the SMA socket on the rsp1a. Secondly, frequency ent...

Re: Buzz in AM mode
Hi Mike, join the club. For the last few years I've had an intermittent rough buzz across LW, MW and HF and it is even audible on 70 MHz. I keep hoping that whatever it is will blow up or the owners will move away, but it just keeps on. It's coming in via the antenna (Wellbrook loop) but it will onl...

Re: Bias-T not working in v1.31 update
Jim Yes we got the weather thanks, it's glorious here in the NW of England right now. I haven't used the Bias T for a long time now, since I stopped listening for some weak satellite beacons using a mast-head pre-amp. I think it might be worth asking over on the SDRPlay facebook page, there are plen...

Re: Bias-T not working in v1.31 update
Hi Jim.
I'm a bit confused. Is it working (sounds like it is, with 4.6 volts present) but it won't switch off? What are these spikes?
