Re: No direct contact to SDRplay support.

I took the time to write up a few bugs I noticed in an email, and another email laying out some feature request, and emailed those to support@sdrplay.com (as generally requested by you) on Dec. 14th 2016. So far I have not received any reply (spam folders being checked on a daily basis) and the emai...

Re: Frequency Sweeps? What? Who?

What about the "Zebra" stripe (sounds like woosh woosh woosh on any modulation) ones that are constantly found in the 3-10MHz range and are exactly(?) 0.5MHz in width. They always sweep down too. I always figured they were some type of inductive load noise like a machine, but we don't have much ind...

Re: RSP2 for radio astronomy

Since people are even using RTL-SDR dongles for pulsar detection, sensitivity and receiver noise figure (oddly) doesn't seem to be of much a concern. The RSP2 has lower receiver noise, better sensitivity and you can utilize a bandwidth of 8 (or even 10) MHz which I think is better than a 2.4 MHz bas...

There are ways to identify... http://jcoppens.com/radio/prop/g3plx/index.en.php ...and utilize ionosondes for your own entertainment: http://www.sgo.fi/~j/gnu_chirp_sounder/ Just identifying the ionosondes by their timing would give you a nice worldwide set of powerful beacons to assess the condx, f...

Re: console V3 wont work on my rs2

Did you open the device list in SDR Console and hit "Add" to add the RSP2 to it? This is much less obvious if you had an RSP1 activated in v3 preview3 before.

Re: RSP2 Upgraders - What Do You Find Better than RSP1?

I wrote up my first impressions here and made a few comparisons that may or may not answer some of your questions: http://www.sdrplay.com/community/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=1509 Short summary: The RSP2 seems a bit more susceptible to overloading while it is capable of presenting signals with a slightly h...

Re: Help needed again.

SDR Console has native (built-in) device support and a preview update supporting the RSP2 is coming soon they say.

Thanks for the warning! I just got SDR#1361 kind of running and want to play a bit more with that.
