Re: Differences between ports A & B
That sounds a bit like something went wrong when you installed SDRuno (which also installs the hardware drivers for the RSP2), Besides contacting support I'd start with disconnecting the RSP2, then rebooting the computer and reinstalling the latest SDRuno version with the device still disconnected.

Re: Brand new to SDR, SWL 20 years
You're looking for S ynchronous AM , that is "SAM" in SDRuno lingo. BTW, the SDRuno manual PDF does not explain much but it can be accessed conveniently via the OPT ions button on the SDRuno main window and of course via the SDRPlay entry in your Windows Start Menu (or its equivalent in recent Windo...

Re: Half of my spectrum is constanly +30 dbz in the red!
Your LO offset is around 500kHz in all 3 screenshots, but you say you selected a bandwidth of 1MHz, so you're tuned to the right edge of the spectrum all the time. Get LO and tuner frequency closer together. So how do I change the LO offset? What does that do? Is it something you can play around wi...

Re: Differences between ports A & B
There should be no differences between port A and B... - when you don't forget to switch to the input your antenna is currently connected to, - and your frequency is still the same, above 1.5MHz, - and you remember checking if RF gain and IF gain are producing the same gain/gain reduction (which may...

Re: Deemphasis: Surplus button?
Ah the light came on thanks! I (obviously) wasn't aware that NBFM uses emphasis too and just read up a bit on the topic, which also gave me at least one idea why you can turn that off in first place. Learned something today, thank you!

Deemphasis: Surplus button?
Could somebody please explain why there's an "OFF" selection for FM deemphasis, when the "DEEM" button is a toggle? I'd deem one of the two kind of redundant?

[RSP2] Short-circuit resilience of the Bias-T?
The bias-T "junction box" of the active Bonito Whip says in big letters "A short-circuit will destroy the device!". That made me wonder how much of a beating the bias-T in the RSP2 will take?

Re: Got my RSP2 today! First impressions: Images II
Short excursion to much shorter waves: Before I continue yapping about HF on the RSP2 again, I wanted to show you the solid improvement in the area around 400 MHz. The ranges between 327-350MHz and 374-395MHz are particularly infested with images from the entire FM band and above on the RSP1. I cho...

Re: ADS-B receiving with the RSP2.
There"s no software support for the RSP2 yet, but I'm sure the existing Dump1090 version for the RSP1 will be tweaked to work with the RSP2 anytime soon-ish.
