Re: RSPduo ExtIO Plugin – v1.1.1 (9th Apr 2019) crashing service
Please reinstall V3.04 of the API and this should correct your problem. We have just realised that the V1.1.1 of the ExtIO plugin still installs V3.03 of the API and this will be incompatible with release 1.32 of SDRuno.
We will fix this ASAP.

Re: Diversity - how does it work?
Hello folks, There is a problem in using the Hi-Z port in that the gain line-up and gain steps are completely different to those of the 50 ohm ports. For diversity to be effective, it is necessary to scale the two paths such that the levels are equal and then they are combined with the appropriate p...

Re: Diversity - how does it work?
Hello Martin Hi Tech_Support, Thank you for your swift response. I hadn't heard of MRC Diversity and unusually the Wikipedia reference has left me only a little wiser. When MRC talks about "channel", what does that refer to in SDRuno terms. Is it the whole captured spectrum or the just the bandwidth...

Re: Diversity - how does it work?
Hello Martin, The type of diversity implemented in SDRuno is called Maximal Ratio Combining Diversity (MRC Diversity). See: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maximal-ratio_combining With the correct antenna setup, this can give you an improvement in SNR, particularly in a fading environment. What you de...

Hello Chris, Open up the Windows Device Manager and expand the section under Sound, video and game controllers. Do you see your RSP1A listed or is it showing up as an RSP1? If it is showing up as an RSP1, there is a problem with your device and I suggest you raise a support ticket via: www.sdrplay.c...

Re: Spurious signals with no antenna
It's actually the 5th harmonic of the Clock which is 24 MHz. All radios generate spurs at harmonics of the clock frequency but with an SDR, you actually 'see' them. Some software 'hides' these spurs by placing a software notch at these harmonics, that also notches signals, so it doesn't alter the fa...
