How the LNA can help with your antenna woes
I'm certainly not the only one who noticed that the LNA can work wonders with a variety of not so optimal or impossible antenna contraptions, random wires, poles, rods, or loops. I don't understand why this works though. First off, LNAs that are not connected directly to the antenna are often said t...

Re: EXTIO Plugin: 3.8.3
That's correct. SDR Console has built-in "native" support for the RSP1 and does not need the .DLL.

Re: SDRplay and useable software ?
Sadly SDR# is the only software with a plug-in architecture so far. :( IMHO the best way to make sure a software not being developed by an army of developers can get certain functionality in a reasonable time span. Failing that ..is it possible to get hold of an earlier version of SDR# that _does_ s...

Re: The station name thing
Oh ouch, thanks! I thought some strange indexing issue or something was going on. Improvement suggestion: The message could be a tiny little bit more verbose, like... Good Day fine Sir, this is your SDRPlay ExtIO - we're glad to inform Your Highness respectfully about our current attempts on downloa...

Re: The station name thing
I noticed that HDSDR is loading very slow, I'm staring for ~30s at a "ExtIO_SDRPlay is loading, please wait" message box when I didn't run it for a few hours (computer was not shut down in the meantime). Anyone else?

Re: Choppy/Stuttering audio across platforms.
@all: Please note that you all have the same symptom , which can be caused by a variety of quite different issues, hence troubleshooting this is done best in a separate thread for everyone having this problem, or in other words, people chiming in with "I have the same issue" is usually making troubl...

Re: Choppy/Stuttering audio across platforms.
This happens on either 250/500 sample; anything above that is impossible. Can you elaborate on what setting exactly you're referring to? Did you try if the same happens with HDSDR? To small audio buffers (too low latency settings) can lead to audio dropouts of course. But alas there are like 100 ot...

Re: What is causing this?
Haha... that image was really puzzling. I'm getting good results (on Win 7 x64) with this (donationware) audio cable gizmo, it doesn't try to talk:

Re: Profiles and screen resolution
Is that netbook as in " old Atom N200 (1.6GHz) based netbook"? That would be amazing! For the time being, most of those little 10" netbooks have a "virtual screen" function, for example activated with CTRL+Fn+Arrow keys, or simply by right-clicking the desktop and selecting the graphics properties a...
