SDRUno next version?
SDRUno next version?
Things seem to have kind of ground to a halt... Long holiday for everyone on staff?
One of the selling points of an SDR is that the S continues to deliver more features even after the R is built.
SDRUno developer(s)... Do you have any status on a new version of the software for we older RSP users?

Re: SDRUno next version?
Holiday?! What is that?
Between sorting out the APIs, updating SoapySDRPlay for the RSPduo, working on ExtIO plugin for the RSPduo (which is in testing) and some other stuff, no time for holiday. The next version of SDRuno is important to us and I've made a start. Don't have a release date for you I'm afraid.
Best regards,
Andy

Hi Andy
Best regards
Steve
I've heard rumours that It's a mythical situation where you get up in the morning, and for once, don't spend the time until you go back to bed sat in front of a computer. But, as I say, just a rumour. If I find out any more, I'll let you know.sdrplay wrote:Holiday?! What is that?
Non PC phrases regarding wallpaper hanging and bum-kicking contests come to mind.sdrplay wrote:Between sorting out the APIs, updating SoapySDRPlay for the RSPduo, working on ExtIO plugin for the RSPduo (which is in testing) and some other stuff

Thank you. FYI, I'm really impressed with the efficiency improvement you managed in the Service-based implementation of 1.23.

Re: SDRUno next version?
I see version 1.24 on the site for download.
What is new/changer in V1.24?
Are there release notes?
Any I/Q output so we can run with CWSkimmer?

There were no functionality changes in 1.24, it was purely for interoperability improvements with other software using the RSPduo, so the RSP1 gain control hasn't been fixed, it will for the next release.
The next version of SDRuno is in development. The latest roadmap can be seen here: https://www.sdrplay.com/community/viewt ... f=6&t=3314
