For sure it helps.

But :
(assuming you are on x64 machine and use the default installation directory, otherwise change directory to where you installed dump1090)
I'm indeed running a 64bits desktop and dump1090 uses the default installation directory.
If you open a command prompt and navigate to... C:\Program Files (x86)\SDRplay\dump1090
Sorry, I don't know to 'navigate' there and access these cmd with the prompt command ... (I have C:\Users\Admin>_ first ; what to type from here ?
I tried cd C:\Program Files (x86)\SDRplay\dump1090 but it does not show what you mention ...

From C:\Program Files (x86)\SDRplay\dump1090, then right-click and 'modify' a .txt window open and I can see the line you mention (see capture).
Is it OK to add the command line option here ?

Finally, a couple of (stupid) questions :
- Should the RSP be connected when changing this command line ?
- Considering I only connect an antenna to TUNER 2 (no antenna attached to TUNER 1) is it still necessary to add this "--rspduo-single" text ?

Sorry to bother you with silly questions ...

Hello Patrick,

Assuming you have the correct permissions to edit those files directly, then you can modify them that way.

The --rspduo-single will allow you to use Zero IF mode - it can be used with either tuner, but only in single tuner mode - I thought it might be an interesting comparison for you, but it shouldn't be essential for you to use it.

Did you check for interference?

A band pass filter is always a very good idea. I purchased a cavity filter from Sysmocom and it works really well in an area with FM broadcast stations reaching signal levels of -15 dBm.
