Hi,
Like the scanner feature very much, but short of stopping the scanner, is there any way to adjust the volume ?

Hi Brian, the software has been arranged so that you cannot change parameters (obviously) while the system is scanning. But you do not have to stop the scan, for changing the volume: just click on "STOP" as shown in the screen below.

glovisol is absolutely correct of course and until now this what I have always done.
However, out of curiosity, I have tried the computer main audio volume control, easily accessible either via taskbar, or keypad, which works without pressing the "stop," or interfering with the scan process (about which I was uncertain).
Whether this is satisfactory for your purpose or not and whether this may have any merit or negative effect I have no idea I'm afraid.
This is, of course, a bit of a "blunt instrument" in that it affects ALL audio.
By the way, I do very much appreciate pictures!

Paul, like all simple ideas, yours is BRILLIANT! It is so easy to set up the PC volume control on the desktop and use it when scanning, but someone must take it up!

Thank you for your kind response Gianfranco.
For some reason simplicity comes easily to me ;)

Now I can buy antennas because the volume problem is really solved by Glovisol and Paul.
Thanks to both of you.
